General Manager - Seasonal - Cervinia, Italy

We have a new position working for a luxury chalet in Cervinia, Italy this winter, with an immediate start. This is an ideal role for an experienced hospitality professional coming from a management background, which could include chalets, villas, private houses or small boutique hotels at a 5* level. The chalet has recently been renovated and is now one of the most exclusive chalets available for catered ski holidays, so we're looking for someone to ensure standards are always incredibly high.

Responsibilities
  • Day to day Chalet management of guests and staff
  • Communication with guests to provide concierge service, deal with and issues that may arise and go ‘over and beyond’ to exceed their expectations
  • Drive standards, improve staff performance and communicate guest feedback
  • Manage client expenses, take payments
  • Scheduling of staff rotas
  • Property management- liaise with relevant tradesmen, suppliers etc, property checks
  • Inventory management- stock takes, ordering, moving stock between chalets
  • Manage setup and close down of chalet
  • Manage accounts with suppliers
Ideal Candidate
  • Management experience in hospitality industry
  • High standard and knowledge of service and wine
  • Great interpersonal skills- ability to build relationships with clients and well as maintain a good working relationship with employees
  • Eye for detail- level of cleanliness, standard of service
  • Basic computer skills- spreadsheets, emails etc
  • Ability to overcome logistic issues, problem solver, highly organised
  • EU passport
