Chef de Partie - Seasonal - Annecy, France

We have a great opportunity for mutliple Chef de Parties to work beside an experienced Head Chef in a beautiful restaurant in Annecy, France, that's entering its second year after a hugely successful first. This is a rare opportunity to secure a seasonal role in a really desirable location, with an excellent salary and accommodation provided.

Responsibilities
  • Assisting the Head Chef in designing seasonal menus using the fresh, local produce
  • Preparing, cooking and presenting high quality dishes
  • Preparing meat and fish
  • Management of health and safety within the kitchen
  • Assisting with the management of food hygiene practices
  • Monitoring portion and waste control
  • Overseeing the maintenance of kitchen and food safety standards
Ideal Candidate
  • EU passport or residency
  • Willing to learn and develop under an experienced Head Chef
  • Passion for using fresh and local produce
  • Previous experience in working in a fast paced kitchen
  • Training the Commis chefs
Package
Salary: €1800 NET per month

Accomodation provided

Seasonal contract (from around May-Sept)

39 hours per week

Minimum 1 day off per week, sometimes 2
