Note

We are looking to recruit a number of Commis 1 Chefs to work within a large international kitchen brigade, in a VVIP Private Estate in the Middle East. The ideal candidate has a few years of experience as a Commis 1 Chef within 5* environments, be proactive and eager to improve. This is an excellent opportunity to work with some of the best chefs from around the world, while setting foot in the high-end luxury Private sector. A truly unique opportunity and an excellent learning experience.

Responsibilities
  • Cleans, cuts and prepares all fruits, vegetables, herbs, and salad items
  • Cooks and serves food according to correct taste, temperature and visual appeal
  • Maintains the area in a clean, safe and sanitary manner
  • Maintains food safety temperature logs with direction from CDPs and Sous Chef
  • Reads and refers to cooking reference material
  • Completes assigned tasks as quickly as is safely practical
  • Follows the resorts policies and procedures and adheres to the grooming policies
  • Other duties as required

  • High levels of grooming
  • Copes well under high pressure environments
  • Fluent English
Package
    Salary: $42,000 per year (Net)
  • Salary (NET): USD 3,500/Month
  • Accommodation: with swimming pool and leisure facilities
  • Meals: included
  • Transfer: return flights
  • Visa: provided
  • Medical insurance: provided
  • Contract: 12 months (renewable)
  • 30 days annual leave (+30 bonus days available)
