Head Chef - Permanent - Annecy, France

We are looking for an experienced Head Chef to join recently opened restaurant in Annecy, France, that's entering its second year after a hugely successful first. You will be leading a team of 8-12 and look after the day to day running of the kitchen of around 150-180 covers a day. This is a rare opportunity to secure a permanent Head Chef role in a really desirable location, with an excellent salary and accommodation provided.

Responsibilities
  • Create varied quality menus, using local suppliers
  • Managing an efficient and clean kitchen
  • Efficient stock control
  • Ensure best prices at all times across a range of suppliers
  • Ensuring all Health & Safety procedures are adhered to
  • Good communicator bringing a positive and productive culture from the kitchen
Ideal Candidate
  • You will be both energetic and approachable
  • You need to be able to work calmly under pressure and able to manage the food budget
  • You will be a self-motivated individual with a genuine enthusiasm for managing and producing good quality food to a consistent standard
  • You will also want to build an amazing reputation for yourself and the Hotel
  • Ideally you will have previously worked in a seasonal holiday business
  • French language would be beneficial
  • You will need to have the right to work in the EU
Package
Salary: €2500 NET per month

Accommodation provided (within the hotel)

5-day working week

Food and drink provided 7-days per week
