Host / House Manager / Butler - Permanent - Scotland

We have an exciting new opportunity for an individual to manage the running of a luxury holiday rental in the Scottish highlands. We are looking for a highly professional, experienced and confident individual for this role which is a combination of a Host/Butler and House Manager. You will be hands-on in pre-arrival concierge duties and helping to create memorable itineraries, then being on-hand to provide 5* levels of service during the guests' stay. Not only is this stunning property modern yet authentic in style, it also has sustainability at it's heart, so is ideal for someone passionate about eco-friendly hospitality.

Responsibilities
  • Pre-arrival concierge duties: helping to create itineraries and booking experiences, transfers and finding out dietary requirements
  • Welcoming guests and creating a warm and friendly environment in the property
  • Ensuring consistent 5* service for all guests
  • Professional, personal yet discreet service where necessary
  • Liaise with the external caterers and assist where necessary
  • Assist the permanent housekeeping team
  • Keep in regular contact with the owners
Ideal Candidate
  • Butler/Host experience within 5* luxury environments and private hospitality
  • Professional and modern approach to service
  • Keen interest in sustainability and being "green"
  • Trustworthy and loyal
  • A chalet/villa background could work well for this role
  • Local knowledge would be beneficial
Package
Salary: £35,000

Long-hours when guests are in residence, but downtime when vacanct

Holiday allowance during off-season (agency staff will be employed to cover holiday)

Live-out but owners will assist with looking for somewhere to rent/buy

Very generous tips (can average £500 per week) based on excellent service

Location will be disclosed during registration stage of your application
