Note

We are looking for an experienced Housekeeper and Tour Guide for our clients Luxury River Barge in France. This is a seasonal role starting in April 2023 until October 2023. The cruise itinerary will include visits to the wine regions and vineyards. We are looking for an experienced housekeeping stewardess who is able to provide 5-star service in both housekeeping and F&B. This is a superb opportunity to work on board a luxury river barge for the Spring/Summer season and look after UHNW clients staying on board.

Responsibilities

• 2 people to fill joint stew/tour guide roles onboard
• Stewardess duties; housekeeping, meals service etc
• One or both stewardesses to share tour guiding duties and transfers of guests to and from the barge.
• The tour guiding aspect does not require any in-depth knowledge of the area as you will get training; taking guests on specific visits and giving small amounts of information along the way.
• Join onboard mid April for trading and your contract will run through until the end of October 2023, with a paid full 4 week break in the middle.

Ideal Candidate

• Several years’ experience in hospitality at a 4 or 5* level.
• Great initiative and flexibility
• Experience working on a yacht or villa in housekeeping and service
• Clean driver’s license, valid in France
• Must be over 25 for the van insurance, have a clean drivers licence
• Excellent level of spoken English

Package

Salary: €650 per week plus tips

• Great tip potential (can be around €300/400 per week)
• Start date: mid-April 2023 - October 2023
• For people who are self-employed and can invoice monthly we are offering 650€/wk plus a share of tips typically 350/400€ per crew member per week.
