Japanese Chef - Permanent - Abu Dhabi

We are actively recruiting a highly skilled Japanese Chef to join a private household in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate must have proven previous experience in a similar role and must also have knowledge in international cuisine. You should be able to customise meals according to the client's requests. Ultimately, the chef should be able to work well under pressure and maintain high standards at all times.  

Responsibilities
  • Expertly cutting, slicing and filleting different kinds of fish
  • Preparing a wide range of traditional and authentic Japanese dishes
  • Sushi and Sashimi preparation according to established guidelines on portion size, presentation and food safety
  • Maintaining an immaculate work environment
  • Taking inventory of food supply and other produce
  • Sterilisation of all utensils used before and after sushi preparation
Ideal Candidate
  • Japanese nationals only
  • Proven experience in upscale sushi restaurants
  • Knowledge in international cuisine
  • Excellent knowledge of food safety regulations
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Immaculate references
Package
Salary: 20-30.000 Dirhams per month - DOE

Hours: Flexibility required – depends on family’s schedule

Start Date: ASAP
