We are looking for an experienced housekeeper to join a lovely household based near Blandford Forum, Dorset. The client would ideally like the candidate to have extensive knowledge of the laundry as that will be their main role. As the house will not be used all year round, they will assist with the housekeeping when they are not in the laundry. The house has 15 bedrooms, dining room, snug, library, main kitchen, family kitchen, laundry, outdoor eating area, office and garages and is located on an estate. The clients are flexible when the family are not in residence. The house will be used mainly in the winter and at times throughout the rest of the year.

Responsibilities

• High standards of ironing, fabric and garment care required.
• Care of all laundry within the household, washing, pressing, and ironing
• Wardrobe management
• Care of fine garments & fabrics, seasonal wardrobe management
• Packing/unpacking for travel
• Cleaning of the property
• General housekeeping
• Polishing silverware
• Shopping and errands

Package

Salary: £32,000-£35,000 Gross Per Annum
