Operations Director - Permanent - Morzine, France

We have a rare opportunity to join a lovely chalet company based in Morzine on a potential year-round, permanent contract. This is a new role to assist the owner with company strategy and company development, plus being very involved with the chalet operation through the summers and winters. You will have a Resort Manager reporting to you, but also assist with the day to day running of the chalet programme; whilst being a bridge to the UK office.

Responsibilities
  • Overseeing the overall chalet operation over the summer and winters
  • Managing a small team, including a Resort Manager
  • Assisting the owner with strategy and company development
  • Dealing with the recruitment of chalet staff
  • Dealing with local suppliers and contractors
Ideal Candidate
  • Fluency in French (essential)
  • Previous chalet background
  • Experience in recruitment
  • Ability to bring fresh ideas and strategy to the company
  • Flexible in working approach
  • Committed and trustworthy personality
  • A passion for all things skiing and alpine summer
Package
Salary: Depending on experience
