Private Chef - Permanent - South Germany

We are delighted to be on the search for an experienced Private Chef to work for a VVIP full-time residence in Southern Germany. We're looking for a child-friendly chef for this large private residence, cooking for two Principles and four children who enjoy healthy well-balanced, nutritious meals. You will need to have an International repertoire and be able to make all your dishes from scratch, using the finest fresh and seasonal produce along with an afternoon dessert of cakes, tarts and fresh fruit.

Responsibilities
  • The family enjoy a good mix and variety of cuisine based around but not limited to Italian, Austrian, Japanese, Asain, Vegetarian, Vegan style dishes with child-friendly understanding.
  • Think Ottolenghi, Nobu, Chef Antonio Carluccio, Chef Wolf Gang Puck.
  • The chef must be able to take direction from the principal with regards to family favourite recipes and be fine with having kids in the kitchen.
  • Management of all the kitchen operations for households including accounting.
  • Food product management: locating best products organic whenever possible, storage of dry, fresh and frozen food, ordering of food and kitchen supplies, hygiene of the highest standards.
  • Healthy Staff food to be provided for 4 Nannies and 4 staff twice a day at the allocated time.
  • Food preparation twice a day at allocated time slots of 12.30 pm and 6.30 pm (A flexible understanding needs to be understood when it comes to executing service as some time's, time may vary as principals may have meetings that could push over the scheduled time. It is essential that food is fresh and proteins are not dry by the time food is served)
  • A passionate friendly flexible calm can-do mentality is key in this role.
Ideal Candidate
  • Previous private chef experience
  • Fluent English
  • Spanish and/or German would be desirable
  • EU passport / right to work in Germany
Package
Salary: €5500 (brut)

Accommodation provided - apartment near the property (family are welcome to stay)

5-6 days per week

9am - 9pm (split shift - afternoon break is included) with flexibility around days off

There is also occasional travel with the family

Use of staff vehicles
